  Duct Cleaning

Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems accumulate all types of contaminants including construction debris and dust. This debris and any mold or bacteria thriving inside dirty air duct systems can have a negative impact on the quality of the indoor air in a building.

A clean air duct system creates a cleaner, healthier indoor environment which increases efficiency and lowers energy costs.

Most homeowners have no idea what goes on inside their home's air ducts. But the
fact is, they can become littered with years of accumulated dirt, debris and allergens like
pollen, dust and pet dander.

Industry standards recommend that you have your air ducts inspected every 2 years for cleanliness, and have them cleaned, on average, every 5-7 years. Of course, this will vary with the conditions in
your home.

By having your air ducts cleaned regularly, you’ll help improve the indoor air quality in your home, and enhance the efficiency of your heating/cooling system, which may reduce energy bills.

RCS technicians use one of the most powerful and effective air duct cleaning systems on the market today..

Why Clean Your Air Ducts?

Cleaning your home's air duct system could be the healthiest home improvement you will ever make.

Indoor Air Quality Facts:
• 50% of all illnesses are either caused or aggravated by polluted indoor air.
• Children, the elderly, and sufferers of allergies, asthma, and other respiratory problems are most vulnerable.
• Airborne particles contain pollen, mold spores, dust-mite feces, bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
• Most people spend up to 90% of their time indoors.
• Indoor air has been found to be 70 to 100 times more polluted than outdoor air.
• Energy-efficient houses are nearly airtight, preventing the house from “breathing” and causing stale air.
• 99% of dust particles in the air cannot be seen with the naked eye.
• Smokers, wood burning fireplaces, construction debris, cooking odors, and aerosols are all major contributors to indoor air pollution.
• Dogs, cats, and other pets only exacerbate the problem.
